About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control Management Specialist within COO Global Operations Control focused on the Governance Support, Business Management, Strategy and Planning team.


In this role, you will:

  • Provide business management support for various employe engagement routines in the Dallas location
  • Provide Record Retention support for key policy requirements for COO Global Operations Control
  • Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area
  • Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls
  • Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
  • Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk
  • Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations
  • Dynamic Individual contributor role which requires the ability to manage multiple simultaneous workstreams at once


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education



Desired Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of Audit experience
  • 2+ years of Program management
  • 2+ years of Project management.
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in corporate-wide policy governance, maintenance and governance of the plans, playbooks and policies
  • 2 year of strategic planning and development experience
  • Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)


Job Expectations:

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and present processes/operational enhancements and to interact with all levels of an organization, and the ability to effectively manage and build relationships.
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and risk management techniques across the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Position offers a hybrid work schedule in which you are required to work in office 3 days per week at a minimum in one of the locations listed below

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
