Internship Program​
Immerse yourself in the world of Tiffany through our U.S. Summer Internship Program. As part of our esteemed Summer 2025 Class, you will embark on an unforgettable ten-week journey that begins with an exclusive two-day orientation in New York City — the birthplace of Tiffany & Co. During the ten weeks, you will delve into the dynamic world of luxury jewelry through on-the-job learning, exploration of the intricate facets of our business, and networking opportunities with Tiffany leaders and fellow interns alike. - Dates: The internship will run from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025. Selected interns are expected to be available for work for the entire 10-week program.​
- Location: This position will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in New York, NY.​
- Salary: Compensation for this internship will be $25 per hour.​
Position Overview
As a Sales Merchandising Intern, you'll be immersed in the world of luxury retail, working alongside a dynamic team responsible for bridging the gap between product category management and sales execution. You'll gain firsthand experience in how Tiffany & Co. translates its product vision into a captivating in-store experience.
Key Accountabilities
- Support Business Objectives:
- Trend Analysis: Dive into sales data, market trends, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and potential challenges. You'll assist in preparing reports that inform key business decisions.
- Sales Review & Budget Support: Get involved in the operational side of the business by helping prepare materials for sales performance reviews and budget planning. This could include compiling data, creating presentations, and summarizing key takeaways.
- Market Initiative Tracking: Stay informed about exciting new initiatives happening across different markets and stores. You'll help track their progress, gather feedback, and communicate updates to the team.
- Space Planning & Assortment:
- New Store Concept Support: Be a part of shaping the future of Tiffany & Co. stores! You'll assist in developing space planning guidelines for new store concepts, ensuring an optimal layout for showcasing products.
- Assortment Strategy: Learn how product selections are curated for different store types and display themes. You'll support the team in maintaining these strategies and ensuring a cohesive brand experience across all locations.
- Product Lifecycle Analysis: Analyze data on product performance to understand the lifecycle of different collections. Your insights will help the team make informed decisions about product placement, promotions, and inventory management.
- New Product Support and Product Opportunities:
- Launch Strategy: Be involved in the exciting process of launching new products! You'll assist in gathering feedback from different teams, contributing to launch strategies, and ensuring a smooth rollout.
- Communication & Tools: Help create materials and resources that equip sales teams with the knowledge and tools they need to successfully introduce new products to customers.
- Launch Tracking & Optimization: Monitor the performance of new product launches, gather feedback from different regions, and contribute to any necessary adjustments in strategy.
- Team Support:
- Administrative & Analytical: Provide essential support to the team by handling administrative tasks, organizing data, and contributing to reports and presentations.
- Presentation & Report Preparation: Hone your presentation skills by assisting in the creation of visually compelling presentations and reports that effectively communicate key findings and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for Retail: A genuine interest in the world of retail, merchandising, and luxury goods.
- Strong Academic Foundation: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Organization & Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Analytical Mindset: A knack for analyzing data, identifying trends, and drawing meaningful insights.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Luxury Retail Experience: Previous internship or work experience in a luxury retail environment.
