Director, Vaccines Access & Pricing, Above Brand Portfolio

Our focus is on innovation and launch execution excellence, translating scientific advancements into impactful medicines that help people globally.Reporting to the AVP, Global Market Access Vaccines, theDirector, Vaccines Access & Pricing, Above Brand Portfoliois a highly visible role that will work alongside leaders integrating strategies across the entire of our company's vaccine portfolio.The director will collaborate with cross functional team members to align, develop and implement strategies to advance the long-term goals of vaccines market access.As a member of the Vaccines Access & Pricing leadership team, the individual will also work alongside the respective Executive Directors of Access & Pricing and broader Global leaders in Market Access Strategy & Operations, Sustainable Access Solutions.

The Director is also responsible for the developing data-driven insights across the portfolio and harmonizing Vaccines Access & Pricing reporting.This includes, but not limited to, Access & Pricing quarterly reviews, forecast analysis and action planning,negotiationexcellence, development of long-term strategy integration of Sustainable Access Solutions and operations including Global Access Teams (GATs).

The Above Brand Director is also a member of the V&I team for Above Brand guiding our investments and outcomes research across the portfolio.This includes leading the development of appropriate Above Brand payer value proposition, access strategy, value messages, and execution plans in collaboration with Marketing, Outcomes Research, Medical Affairs, BARDS, Policy, Communications, and key markets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and integration of Above Brand initiatives across the vaccine portfolio to advance broad, timely and sustainable access including solution development, implementation, pull-through and measurement alongside cross-functionalleaders.

  • Lead our "Access Intel" team responsible for the tracking of vaccine preventable diseases, the broad and evolving access environment for our vaccines.As team leader, also responsible for delivering impactful insights, analysis and the communication of KPIs supporting franchise teams and the broader enterprise.

  • Ownership and management of our market access assessment of the forecast including action plans to identity and manage risks and opportunities

  • Lead the development, synthesis and communication of payer customer insights to inform market access strategy - including opportunities and risks to access and reimbursement for current and future vaccine assets.

  • Coordinate with Global Cross Functional Team members including Marketing, Outcomes Research, Medical Affairs and Policy to develop portfolio value resources.

  • Lead development & internal training of Payer Value Deck and Access Resources to support Above Brand portfolio initiatives. Partner with external agencies and vendors as needed and ensure approvals and budget allocation as required.

Location/Commute:

  • This position has a preferred location in Rahway, NJ (USA) and alternative location of Upper Gwynedd, PA (USA).

  • We offer a Hybrid setup (combination of an in-office & remote).This positioncannotbe 100% remote.

Position Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Required Experience or Skills

  • 8+ years in one or more of these areas: market access, pricing/reimbursement, health policy and/or health economics, sales, and marketing (or equivalent roles), market research

  • Demonstratedstrategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated analytical ability and competency in financial assessments.

  • Expertise successfully guiding cross functional matrix teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand, develop and communicate scientific based strategies and messages.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Strong project management and operational skills.

Preferred Experience or Skills:

  • Vaccines market access experience

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Success in ambiguous and challenging situations.

  • Self-motivated; hands-on approach to work.

  • Bias towards speed and agility.

  • Non-traditional creative thinker with a focus on problem solving and action.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US salary range:

$181,600.00 - $285,800.00
