ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for handling daily tasks pertaining to the upcoming Summer and Fall Events.
• Begin the promotion of the National Championship by updating sponsorship packages.
• Assist with logistics and preparation for the PGA Show and LPGA Professionals Championship.
• Assist with updates to online courses.
• Assist with special projects relevant to the LPGA Professionals YouTube Channel.
• Assist with the updating of various database files and reports needed.
• Assist with general marketing and communication projects.
• Attend the LPGA Professionals National Championship.
• Participate in special projects and assignments as requested.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of the golf industry and/or event management is a plus.
• Skilled in event coordination and administrative tasks.
• Skilled in written and oral communication.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Ability to be proactive, have excellent organizational skills, and perform efficiently.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and occasionally travel is preferred.

INTERNSHIP QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited College or University.
• Progress toward a degree, major, or minor in Event Management, Business, Communications, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,)
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application.
• Must be junior or senior level. Grad students and recent grads will be considered.

PROJECTED INTERNSHIP SCHEDULE

• Internship Duration: June 2025 to August 2025
• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
