- The Global Assortment Planner is responsible for optimizing brand assortment and inventory for maximum profitability, bolstering brand initiatives, and supporting both direct and indirect global businesses.
- Partner with global merchants and brand leadership to build buys for seasonal newness by channel and region.
- Partner with brand leadership and merchandising teams to conduct business reviews highlighting current business trends and opportunities. Help identify and support actions on common risks and opportunities for improving sales, margin, and increasing inventory efficiency through assortment management.
- Create and maintain reporting with common KPIs to help analyze the business and make decisions on optimizing assortment (product life-cycle, SKU count rationalization/SKU productivity, etc.) in order to meet sales, margin, and support both brand and commercial objectives.
- This position works closely with global and commercial merchants, parallel planning pillars, marketing, supply chain management, and leadership across all of those functional groups.
- The Global Assortment planner must have a strong analytical skill set. Experience with brand strategy building is a plus.
- Project work or other duties as assigned by the Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Fashion Merchandising, or relevant major
- 3+ years of experience in planning, buying, or allocating
- Proficient knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Google Enterprise products.
- Proven success with building strong cross-functional partnerships
- Self-managing and proven success in planning, buying, or allocation in direct and indirect businesses
- Driven and takes initiative
- Displays efficiency, agility, and the ability to pivot quickly based on real-time changes in the business
