Our client in the entertainment space is looking for a full time Senior Graphic Designer with experience managing a team. This role is fully onsite and will require you to be at the office 5 days a week, in Washington, DC.
The ideal candidate will have experience mentoring or leading design teams and working with brands undergoing transitions.
Senior Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of full-time and freelance designers.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications to develop and execute visually compelling brand campaigns
- Oversee the creation of mood boards, storyboards, and other pre-production visual assets for photo and video shoots
- Present storyboards with ideas and options to executives
- Lead the design process from concept through completion maintaining brand consistency
- Work directly with freelance designers and external creative partners, providing direction, feedback, and oversight on all outsourced projects
Senior Graphic Designer Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of graphic design experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentor role
- Proven experience leading a team of designers and mentoring emerging talent
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual storytelling, mood boards, storyboards, and brand development
- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with animation and motion graphics is a plus
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
