NOTE: This is a 100% on-site position with no ability for remote/virtual work due to the sensitive nature of the work and collaboration of the program team
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate infrastructure repairs including directing remote activities to ensure continuity for service delivery.
- Review root cause analysis documentation to address performance management and incident correlation issues.
- Work within the DevSecOps methodology to plan and support implementation of new technologies.
- Prepare recommendations for resolutions to NetOps challenges based on monitoring results, tools analysis, and/or forensics.
- Assist the Cyber Team employ approved defense-in-depth principles and practices (e.g., defense-in-multiple places, layered defenses, and security robustness). Assist with the collection of intrusion artifacts (e.g., source code, malware, and trojans) and use discovered data to enable mitigation of potential computer network defense (CND) incidents within the enterprise.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ yrs. experience working within Network Administration and Information Technology.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field
- Clearance: Secret
- Certifications: Active IAT II Security + ce AND CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator) AND CASP+
- Highly Desired Additional Certifications include: a CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching, CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
Physical Requirements: - Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk to various locations as needed.
- Ability to bend and navigate to perform assigned duties.
- Ability to lift light to moderate equipment as needed for job.
