Job Description:
Title: OBA Technician
Contract Length: 6 month contract to start- conversion or extension based on performance
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Rate: 46/hr
Overview:
This position supports Treasury Sales Officers, Implementation Advisors, and Treasury Services Specialists with the onboarding of new Large Corporate and Commercial clients implementing complex Treasury Services products within the US and Canada. The individual must have a broad and in-depth knowledge of the various payments, receipts, and reporting services as well as data transmission protocols in order to adequately consult with clients, explain the options available to them, and gather their requirements for implementing those services. The services they support are treasury services and cash management services – need to be familiar with what these services are. What are positive pay services? What is ACH what does it do for a client? Make or receive payments. ACH Positive Pay – detecting fraud? Deep understanding of file formats
Responsibilities:
- Getting connections between systems for clients.
- Explain the file format. The work process comes from Sales to IA’s and you will quarterback the implementation.
- You will be engaged on the client call in order to make sure the systems compatible.
- You will walk the client through setup with systems and allow clients to send their files.
- You will support 20+ products and services, will start small and learn 1-2 products, and grow from there.
- You will be the primary contact for all technical aspects associated with the implementation of these services and therefore must be the client advocate for those product teams.
- The value you will bring to the team and to the organization is the ability to build trust and confidence with clients and ensure the bank effectively delivers an excellent client experience during these technically complex implementations.
Must-Haves:
- Experience or some foundational knowledge with Data transmissions – XML files, EDI processes (Electronic Data Interchange), Sending of data setting up channels of transmissions – i.e. 200 payments in a file. STP, HTTPS
- understand the complexity of files - usually see it in banking or supply chain (i.e. purchase orders)
- Has the ability to pick up on new systems and new technology quickly.
- Need to have a good personality as you will be supporting internal teams and external clients
- Needs people who are extremely organized and have the ability to fulfill/bounce around multiple requests at once
- Be able to function in a high-paced environment with little oversight
