Position: Certified Medical Assistant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our medical practice office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supporting medical professionals, and contributing to a positive and efficient clinical environment.
Duties:
- Assist medical professionals with patient care and medical procedures.
- Perform various medical tasks, including vital signs, medical histories, and specimen collection.
- Prepare patients for exams and treatments, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as directed.
- Provide patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and addressing needs.
- Support the office by performing clerical tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Ensure the office remains clean and organized, adhering to infection control procedures and medical facility standards.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of patient care and medical procedures.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of dermatology and other medical specialties.
Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is necessary, with a current certification from a reputable organization.
- current BLS certification
- Previous experience in a medical setting, such as a clinic or hospital, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to learn and grow in the role.
