About This Opportunity
The Sr. Support Specialist for 7-Eleven's Waste Program will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and approving waste
invoices. As the primary owner of our waste data, the Sr. Support Specialist will work closely with 7-Eleven's Waste Operations team, as well as 3rd Party partners to maintain data accuracy while ensuring that 7-Eleven maximizes the programs capabilities. This role requires a highly organized candidate with strong communication skills to navigate processes in our hauler network. The ideal candidate works independently with minimal supervision and excels at cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Review monthly waste invoices for accuracy and identify billing errors.
- Track and report key metrics, including miscellaneous and ancillary charges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain an issue tracker.
- Produce various reporting tools for leadership as requested.
- Track open/close action items on waste accounts, ensuring timely project completion and regular status updates.
- Coordinate cross-functionally to communicate and resolve waste billing anomalies.
- Help support waste team respond to service-related inquiries.
- Education: Bachelors/4 year degree
- Experience: 3-5 years, Waste/Energy/Finance analytics
- Strong analytic skills with experience using consumer insights, qualitative and quantitative analysis and data to drive business decisions
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong time-management skills; the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple, competing priorities to achieve high levels of performance and deliver sustainable results
