Technical Copywriter

Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 3+ months
Hours per week: 10 - 15 hours
Rate Range: $40 - $60

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Copywriter to create clear and engaging documentation that meets the needs of our clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong corporate background and be proficient in technical writing processes and guidelines. This role is crucial for developing documents that support business operations and facilitate effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical documentation including user manuals, guides, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of content.
• Facilitate meetings to gather requirements and feedback on documentation.
• Review and edit existing documents to improve clarity and structure.
• Implement writing processes and guidelines to ensure consistency across all documentation.
• Support process development initiatives by creating relevant documentation for new procedures.
• Ensure that all documentation aligns with billing best practices and budget approval processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a technical writer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of technical writing processes and guidelines.
• Experience working in a corporate environment, preferably within business operations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with document development tools and software.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and gather requirements effectively.
