REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

5+ years of experience in IT systems implementation, with a focus on workforce management (WFM), HRIS, payroll, or timekeeping solutions.
Experience with ADP Workforce Manager or UKG Pro is highly preferred.
Strong background in system integration, API management, and middleware technologies.
Hands-on experience with data migration, SQL queries, and reporting tools.
Experience working in retail or multi-location business environments is a plus.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a Contract Technical Lead to support the implementation of ADP Workforce Manager (WFM) for a major retail client. While ADP Workforce Manager is a white-labeled version of UKG Pro, this role will require close collaboration with both ADP and UKG's system integrator team to ensure a seamless implementation.
The Technical Lead will serve as the primary technical liaison between the client's internal teams and the UKG system integrator, providing expertise in system configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, and issue resolution. This contract position is expected to last 8-9 months and will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment of the WFM solution.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

Act as the primary technical point of contact between the client, ADP, and UKG's system integrator team.
Ensure that business requirements are translated into effective technical solutions.
Provide technical oversight throughout the implementation lifecycle, from planning to go-live and post-implementation support.
Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, HR, Payroll, Operations, and Finance, to align system functionality with business needs.

System Integration & Configuration

Work with UKG's system integrator to define integration points, data flows, and system configurations for ADP Workforce Manager.
Coordinate with internal IT teams to ensure seamless connectivity between WFM and other enterprise systems, such as HRIS, Payroll (ADP), POS, and Time & Attendance systems.
Support API and middleware configurations, troubleshooting any integration issues.

Data Migration & Validation

Lead data extraction, transformation, and migration efforts, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Validate data mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation with business stakeholders.
Develop and execute test cases to verify data migration success.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Define and oversee system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance testing.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with UKG's implementation team.
Document system configurations, customizations, and test results.

Change Management & Post-Go-Live Support

Provide technical training and documentation to IT and end-user teams.
Assist with issue resolution and troubleshooting during hypercare and stabilization periods.
Support system optimization and configuration refinements post-implementation.
