Truist aims to provide teammates an inclusive and energizing environment that empowers teammates to learn, grow, and have meaningful careers.The Workforce Planning Senior Consultant will be a part of the HR Transformation, Optimization and Performance Improvement COE (TOP) and will support the development of an enterprise-wide thorough strategic workforce planning methodology, framework & process (including the scoping of technology investments required). This role will also support in operationalizing and executing the strategic workforce planning methodology, framework & process in the form of pilots, as well as compiling and applying lessons learned to iteratively improve and standardize the process of strategic workforce planning across the Bank.
This role will partner with key stakeholders (e.g., business leaders, HR Business Partners, HR COEs, Finance, Corporate Strategy, Real Estate) to translate Truist’s enterprise, line of business (LOB) and function strategies into both short term and long term strategic workforce plans that enable:
• Data-driven decision making on where talent is needed, what talent is needed, and the timespan/cost for securing talent
• Scenario planning with cost impacts to create a strategy of where to optimally access talent
• Proactively anticipating talent investments with strategies to drive enterprise/LOB or function imperatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Consult on execution of workforce initiatives with data insights and process improvements. Implement opportunities to centralize and/or automate processes to gain efficiencies
2. Lead workforce data analysis. Design reports, dashboards and tools that improve efficiency and provide workforce insights. Act as a strategic change agent in the effort to establish a culture of data-driven decision-making.
3. Responsible for strategic workforce plans. Effectively translate complex strategies into tactical action plans for execution.
4. Responsible for measuring progress against strategic workforce plans and other workforce KPIs. Propose KPIs, set targets and benchmarks, establish recurring reports and provide insight into trends. Identify solutions for performance issues.
5. Represent Human Resources on cross-function project teams. Influence strategic direction of projects and initiatives with workforce impacts.
6. Effectively engages and manages stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization to ensure appropriate sponsorship and support of key initiatives and decisions
7. Coordinates the enablement of self-service HR Analytics capabilities across HR Centers of Excellence including coordination & partnership with the Enterprise Data Office on bank-wide analytics capabilities and tools.
8. Provides guidance, training and subject matter expertise to teams and employees in asking appropriate questions, selecting the right metrics, interpreting the data and translating data into actionable recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, or equivalent education or related training
2. 5+ years of experience in Workforce Planning/Analytics or related field
3. Strong analytic aptitude, ability to analyze data and formulate effective strategies and tactics
4. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, modelling)
5. Experience creating PowerPoint presentations to tell a compelling story using data and analytics; Ability to present data in a logical, concise manner.
6. Project management and process improvement experience
7. Proven thoughtful process of analyzing data and problem solving with data to reach a well-researched solution.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Advanced Business Degree (MBA, MS, MA)
2. Experience in Enterprise Workforce Management
3. Technical experience with tools such as Python, R, Qlik, Tableau, Microstrategies and Visier
4. Degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, Math, Computer Science, MIS, Analytics, Data Science or other related fields
