Join a leading technology company’s Services team and help shape the future of our sports media properties. As a Strategic Planning Specialist supporting our sports businesses (soccer, baseball, and sports app), you’ll work at the intersection of strategy, media planning, and project management to drive audience growth and engagement across multiple platforms. In this fast-paced role, you’ll collaborate with marketing teams, creative partners, data analysts, and business stakeholders to develop and execute integrated media strategies that align with our sports business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated media strategies across our sports properties
- Lead day-to-day media planning process, from securing budgets to tracking performance
- Work closely with creative operations team to develop and implement campaign creative assets
- Manage specifications in Air Table for creative tracking and ensure timely delivery
- Provide regular status updates and maintain detailed documentation for marketing stakeholders
- Collaborate with data analytics teams to monitor campaign performance and implement optimizations
- Translate performance insights into strategic recommendations for future campaigns
- Create compelling, digestible presentations to communicate plans, results, and strategies to stakeholders
- Maintain organized documentation of cross-functional meetings and action items
Required Qualifications
- 4-5+ years of media planning and strategy experience (agency experience strongly preferred)
- Experience developing cross-channel media plans across digital, social, OOH, CTV, and traditional channels
- Strong understanding of media budget allocation based on performance data and strategic goals
- Expertise in building media briefs, reviewing media plans, and translating complex information into clear presentations
- Experience working with creative teams on campaign development from concept to execution
- Strong project management skills with ability to track multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, meeting-heavy environment
- Passionate knowledge of sports and understanding of sports media/marketing landscape
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly on sports campaigns or with sports media properties
- Background in audience strategy and insights
- Experience with data analysis tools and performance measurement frameworks
- Understanding of media trafficking processes and specifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $58.50 to $65.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
