Please review the following job description:

The individual in this role will be responsible for identifying, measuring, prioritizing and providing recommended dispositions for Cybersecurity risks across the organization.

Once disposition paths have been determined, this individual will also be responsible for monitoring remediation progress in conjunction with the CCS Delivery team and reporting on projected risk burn down over time.

The individual selected for this role will need to possess a high-level of information security expertise and the ability to translate technical cybersecurity risks to external stakeholders who may not have the same acumen.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead discussions with senior leaders across the Cybersecurity organization to identify, measure and categorize risks through use of a standard taxonomy.

  • Evaluate current cyber risk profile and mitigation capabilities to determine if existing remediation activities are already underway for newly identified risks.

  • Determine and drive the appropriate disposition of the identified risks with the senior leadership and the CCS Delivery team.

  • Collaborate with the CCS Delivery team to prioritize work efforts based on inherent risk ratings and projected residual risk based on mitigation plans.

  • Monitor existing cyber risk profile with respect to changing threat and vulnerability conditions and provide insights to CCS leadership and CCS Delivery team.

  • Develop and disseminate continuous cyber risk reports to senior management that provide updates on current inherent risk levels and projected risk burn down over time.

  • Continuously evaluate the Cybersecurity landscape for additional sources of risk for potential inclusion in the CCS risk registry.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in regulatory affairs, business, organizational or compliance law, or financial services

  • Ten years related experience at a large financial institution performing legal, compliance, or other duties such as risk management and/or project management

  • Ability to lead projects of moderate complexity and notable risk exposure.

  • Strong knowledge on cybersecurity risks, frameworks, best practices and industry/regulatory requirements. Knowledge and experience in use of cyber security governance programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or MBA and 8 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CISA, CISSP
