HYBRID ELIGIBILITY
This position works a hybrid schedule, spending time remotely and in the office in Tioga, ND. The current hybrid schedule provides flexibility to collaborate in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays and work from home Mondays and Fridays. With our 9/80 feature you get time off every other Friday when you work at least 80 hours over the preceding nine days.
Duties and Responsibility
Chemical Program:
- Manage chemical program execution strategy and monitor performance for all responsible Areas (includes work order / PO creation and logistics activity) including flushes and well treatments.
- Involvement in chemical SQDC meetings.
- Logistics coordination of ESP flushes / cap strings, SSRT requested flushes, all scale related flushes, work with RO's when troubleshooting.
SIMOPS (Frac Interference):
- Execute optimization / isolation workflows through Exception Based Surveillance (EBS) for SIMOPs, respectively. This includes planning and execution of well isolation and RTP for SIMOPs inclusive of ensuring SWI(s) are followed.
- Act as key communications point for upcoming SIMOPS activity within areas, solicit feedback from area representatives to prepare for SIMOPS activities.
- Develop monthly SIMOPS forecast for Area activity and monitor spend vs forecast.
- Develop forward looking plan for well isolations - holder of the schedule and ensure compliance - well factory planner - SPS - area communication. Follow Frac Interference guidelines and SWI.
Problem Solving / Continuous Improvement:
- Heavily support (potentially facilitate) cross-area EBS bad actor process.
- Support root cause failure analysis for issues arising from chemical program, SIMOPs, and other associated workflows.
- Act as key liaison between Areas, MRI SS Execution, and WMF on schedule/process alignment for upcoming well work. Provide regular updates/continuous improvement activities in Area SQDC meetings.
- Provide input on standard work instruction development and implementation.
- Assist in reviewing over/underspent work orders.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction through system and process optimization.
- Align with contractors to reduce cost and promote continuous improvement.
- Perform Behavior Based Safety or other assigned types of safety observation program.
- Drive alignment across the Areas in relation to lost production event tracking, troubleshooting, and associated improvements.
Experience/Skills
- Industrial / Oilfield experience
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic understanding of workover rig operations
- Basic understanding of oilfield chemical programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of applicable safety requirements and practices
- Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision in a diverse, multidiscipline team environment.
Education/Training
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 year technical degree, preferred
