Senior IT Compliance Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Compliance Analyst to join our team. This role will primarily focus on disaster recovery planning and execution (75%) and ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) (25%). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT compliance, disaster recovery, and SOX regulations.

Job responsibilities:

Disaster Recovery (75%):

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures.
Conduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical systems and processes.
Coordinate and lead disaster recovery testing and drills to ensure preparedness.
Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure disaster recovery plans are integrated with business impact analysis.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of disaster recovery plans and make recommendations for improvements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for disaster recovery.
Support audit and regulatory requirements for disaster recovery.

SOX Compliance (25%):

Assist in the development and maintenance of IT controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT controls to identify and mitigate risks.
Work with internal and external auditors to provide evidence of compliance with SOX controls.
Document and report on the status of IT controls and assist in remediation efforts.
Provide training and guidance to IT staff on SOX compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT compliance, with a focus on disaster recovery and/or SOX.
Strong knowledge of disaster recovery planning and execution.
Familiarity with SOX regulations and IT control frameworks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CBCP) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with risk management, disaster recovery and or SOX tools and technologies.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for disaster recovery and IT compliance.
Experience with cloud environments, replication and backup tools
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
