Job Summary
We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our Laboratory sales team in the West-Coast. Support the development of Medline Lab Sales Reps within a specified geography on the lab market and internal best practices. Assist with the development and implementation of new training and business development initiatives.Job Description
- Responsible for high level collaboration with VPs, IDN Team, Acute Care Reps and Lab Reps within their specific region with the goal of growing lab sales within the Acute Care market.
- Coach and mentor new Lab Reps and field team partners on Lab and Medline’s Lab value proposition.
- Work in conjunction with the Business Development Director on internal divisional relationships, while providing insight and feedback in areas of improvement and collaboration opportunities.
- Help build new resources (GPO roadmaps, playbooks, literature pieces, etc.) to support key initiatives.
- Provide feedback to field leadership (DSDs, DMs) on opportunities and strengths with the regional Lab team to build on Lab Reps’ ability to perform within the territory.
- Assist in creating Lab Specialist MAP program with Marketing.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of sales and/or business development experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Experience selling into hospital labs
- Experience in high level selling – C level or director level
- Understanding of distribution
- Willing to travel at least 65% of the time for business purposes (within state, out of state)
- Strong presentation skills; high level/understanding of PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred Job Requirements
- Sales and/or business development experience in the healthcare industry
The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
