Full Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist is a vital part of our Rehab Services team!
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develops and implements individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages.
- Provides therapy to improve speech, language and communication skills.
- Conducts regular evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjusts treatment as needed.
- Documents patient progress and maintains accurate treatment records.
- Educates patients and family members regarding speech and language disorders and the treatment options.
- Must have good communication skills as they interact with patients, family members, team member and other health care professionals.
- Some travel to patient homes and other facilities required.
- Experience in Home Health, Hospital and/or skilled nursing settings preferred.
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
- Must be currently licensed in the State of Montana.
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Must have valid, clean driving record and license.
- CPR certified
