Job Description

The Specialist - Supply Chain & Warehouse Operations provides administrative support to the VP- Supply Chain & Warehouse Operations. This position is also responsible for assisting with project management, as well as reporting and analysis of KBIs.

What your day will look like:

  • Responsible for generating high quality emails, presentations and documents that will be distributed to individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Coordinate schedules: prioritizing functions and appointments, ensuring that meetings, deadlines, presentations, and other duties of the department are carried out seamlessly
  • Provide administrative support to include travel arrangements, meeting arrangements, expense report processing, reporting, calendar management and other administrative tasks
  • Gather and prepare content for weekly staff call and any other calls as needed
  • Attend and assist facilitating meetings
  • Prepare and cascade notes from meetings; track and document follow-up
  • Coordinate site visits for VP and team members
  • Track new and ongoing projects
  • Gather relevant information from supporting teams and departments to aid in projects
  • Assist with creation of content for presentations and provide updates on projects as required
  • Track relevant information on Vertique startups, any operational changes and upgrades
  • Monitor and review reports for KBIs and report back to VP to include end of shift, cases per hour, units per hour, overtime, downtime, inventory items, shelf life, out of stock, demand not met, load count, priority status and other reports deemed needed
  • Analysis of reports to determine if escalation to VP or action is needed
  • Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum age 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
  • Highly organized, able to wear multiple hats, and accomplish a multitude of tasks in fast-moving environment required
  • Median knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite required
  • High School diploma and 3-5 years of supply chain, warehouse or manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience
  • Knowledge of Power BI preferred
  • Supply Chain experience preferred
  • Warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Frequent typing, sitting, standing, walking
  • SAP experience preferred
