JOB DUTIES: The Sr. PeopleSoft Systems Developer is responsible for the design and development of modifications to packaged software and custom solutions developed to support specific business needs. Works closely with business analysts, key users, assessing business needs and determining/implementing information technology solutions. Performs analysis, conceptual design, development (coding) and implementation of modifications to purchased applications or custom programs to enhance value to business. Provides expert support of the development after implementation. Applies business and systems knowledge throughout process. Must be willing to be available during non-work hours to support software solutions as needed and to liaise with international offshore team. Requires client facing interactions. Eligible for telecommuting from home within reasonable commuting distance from Minneapolis, MN. Multiple positions available.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or closely related field
Experience must include five (5) years post-bachelors progressive experience in all of the following:
Application analysis and design and software development and systems implementation and package integration. PeopleSoft development using PeopleSoft Application Designer and PeopleTools and PeopleCode and Integration Broker and Application Packages, Application Engines, and Component Interfaces Resolving issues with live code using PeopleSoft debugging tools and PeopleSoft SQL and code tracing methods SQL creation with Oracle SQL database Technical approach and design and development and implementation of modifications to software and custom solutions developed to support specific business needs
Experience must include four (4) years post-bachelors progressive experience in the following:
PeopleSoft Campus Solutions software with focus on Student Financials and Financial Aid
