Our financial services client is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join their team. This is a fully remote role and is expected to last at least 6-months (40 hrs/week). Must be willing to work CST hours. 

Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage complex projects within the organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing client expectations, and driving project success in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning sessions and define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the project are communicated and executed effectively.
• Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
• Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
• Utilize project management software, such as Workfront, to track project activities and outputs.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project obstacles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the financial services industry.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Proficient in project management tools, particularly Workfront.
• Strong skills in marketing and financial services project management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
