Core Responsibilities
- Independently produces full scope of discrete show segments including identifying, developing and coordinating content, creative elements, production and talent.
- Assists Executive Producers/Network Executives with project conception and including final delivery of all program materials to determine and anticipate needs of each project. Independently prepares to be highly knowledgeable of the content of the programming, live and/or taped, in order to anticipate and react to unexpected situations. Provides information relevant to enhancing content.
- Produces in-studio segments; coordinates and executes remote shoots and guest interviews. Identifies casting opportunities and new talent.
- Evaluates, identifies and negotiates for necessary resources to meet production requirements.
- Writes, edits, programs/spots and produce programs.
- Explains production and technical standards, show formatting, spot/add formatting, deal memos, contracts, production and safety policies.
- Oversees the technical standards, show formatting, deal memos, contracts and production policies.
- Organizes and communicates research and footage acquisitions needs.
- Recommends alternative methods for shooting and editing to enhance each production project.
- Schedules assignments and edits in order to meet all show requirements.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Salary:
Pay Range: This job can be performed in Maryland with a Pay Range of $74,818.61 - $134,673.49
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
