WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within BCG's Social Impact Practice Area (SI PA), you will focus on developing the Foundations and Philanthropy topic within the practice area. You will work in a growing and entrepreneurial global team, together with BCG consultants and practice leaders, to provide expertise and insights, customized knowledge assets, and expert advisory to our clients. With guidance from senior colleagues, you will support the development of intellectual property and knowledge assets, plus manage content on internal BCG websites to ensure the availability of the latest, high-quality information for our client-facing teams. You will also support business development and go-to-market efforts, as opportunities arise, contributing research and analysis to marketing efforts. Finally, you may work with our consulting teams on direct client projects, depending on your expertise and interest.

BCG's Social Impact business aims to accelerate progress on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in areas of most need by focusing on both emerging markets (Africa, India, and Southeast Asia) and mature markets facing high inequities. We work with a range of organizations, including aid agencies, foundations, private companies, and governments, on the world’s most pressing topics. Through this work, we lead the firm's investments to deliver impact at scale. You will be working with two primary sectors within the business: Our Development Impact (DI) and Socially Transformative Business (STB) sectors.

BCG's Development Impact (DI) sector includes global health and development, climate adaptation and resilience, women’s empowerment and education, education & skilling, and humanitarian crisis. In our Socially Transformative Business (STB) sector, we consult with private sector clients on social impact issues. Our goal is to help them develop an impact agenda aligned with the company's purpose that acts as a scalable, profitable value driver for the company, serves a range of stakeholder needs, and positively impacts millions of lives by addressing one or more UN SDGs. BCG has a heritage and a commitment to Social Impact, working at the intersection of private, public, and social sectors. You can find more about BCG's own sustainability ambition in BCG's latest sustainability report "Expanding Our Reach, Enhancing Our Impact" (2022).
