Our client in the design and manufacturing space, is looking for a Senior Industrial Designer with product design experience to join their team full-time, in hybrid capacity in New York.
The Senior Industrial Designer will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-end luxury designs from conception to execution and must have experience in AutoDesk Maya software.
Senior Industrial Designer responsibilities:
- Create and execute on brief designs using 3D modeling, lighting, texturing, rendering, animation, motion graphics, and photo retouching
- Conceptualize and share design ideas with the team to solidify direction and align project expectations
- Model 3D projects from various reference materials, including CAD drawings, sketches, and photography
- Meet all deadlines, budgets, and creative requirements while multitasking on multiple projects
- Ensure compliance with company brand guidelines and design standards
- Jump right in to share realistic, manufacturable ideas that you will hands on create and bring to life Senior 3D
Senior Industrial Designer Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in concept art design; art direction; ideally 3D design
- Must have Autodesk Maya, Rhino or similar software experience
- Must have experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator
- Basic knowledge of ZBrush and ability to adapt to new software programs is a plus
- Animation experience in AfterEffects is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in design or visual arts
