Full Job Description
- This position reports to the GIS/Joint Use Manager and is located at the Operations Center in Vancouver, WA. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Regular Full-Time
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- • Maintain and administer various GIS systems and interfaces.
- • Lead the analysis, development and implementation of complex GIS applications.
- • Leverage GIS data to effectively generate and present technical information and cartographic maps.
- • Analyze business/technical processes and information flows which cross multiple systems. Document issues, define alternative approaches to problems, assess business impact and recommend cost- effective solutions.
- • Provide technical training and direct activities of internal and external personnel on GIS and AutoCAD functions.
- • Generate reports, charts, signs, and graphs as needed to support hardware and software recommendations.
- • Lead role in the development and implementation of GIS programs for the electric utility as delegated by the department manager.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in GIS or related technical field, or the equivalent in training and experience. Must have experience with GIS software implementations and system integrations. Knowledge of SQL Server, Arc GIS Server, MS Azure Portal, MS Power Apps, Python, ESRI Arcade, and ModelBuilder with the ability to support and improve ArcGIS functionality preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and customer service. Must have the ability to work independently and as a lead team member. Must possess a desire to suggest creative ideas and/or processes that leverage technical tools to improve other user's abilities to perform duties and analyze data.

Regular full-time employees will receive eight hours of sick leave per month, paid vacation based on years of service, and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
- SALARY
- Salary ranges are market based and established annually. With full competency in the role and satisfactory performance, the target is midpoint within the established range.

- Mid: $112,686
- Max: $132,873
