Full Job Description

Our Company

At The Coca-Cola Company, we exist to refresh the world and make a difference through loved brands, done sustainably, for a better shared future. Working here is about more than working for the global beverage leader, it is an opportunity to be a part of something that can positively impact the world. Our North America Operating Unit (NAOU) is the largest operating unit for the company. Within NAOU, our Strategy team is responsible for defining the mid/long-term strategy for the enterprise, developing competitive insights, and leading high-priority cross-functional strategic projects to drive growth for the organization.

Role

The Senior Director of Strategic Projects role supports long-term strategy for the organization – helping lead and align critical work across different stakeholders / senior leaders. While this is an individual contributor role, it will leverage resources across both the Strategy and other cross-functional teams to drive initiatives forward. This role requires a true General Manager mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively interact with and influence senior leaders across NAOU.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Problem framing and solving: structuring and leading complex / ambiguous cross-functional analyses, initiatives, or efforts

  • Synthesis and storytelling: communicate to and influence stakeholders through a structured, fact-based, and action-oriented storytelling approach

  • Project management: lead / support execution of key initiatives and deliverables, including management of internal and external (i.e., consulting) resources

  • Industry and competitive assessments: develop insights to drive business and execution strategy

  • Facilitation skills: effectively structure and lead conversations to generate actionable outcomes and progress

  • Strategic consulting support: serve as internal advisor to leadership / other cross-functional teams and promote agile ways of working

  • Influence and engage senior management and business peers: develop and communicate POV on strategic direction and actions to be taken using the power of data, insights, and the integration of holistic analysis

  • Stakeholder management: identify, influence, align, and engage key stakeholders

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business-related field required, MBA preferred

  • 10+ years related work experience

  • Proven experience and the ability to lead in a culture first environment with demonstrated results

  • Strategy development experience and strong analytical background

  • Varied experiences across multiple functions and/or OUs preferred

  • Expertise in driving analytical approaches and insights

  • Experience in creating / developing break-through thinking to address market challenges

  • Ability to build partnerships and establish trust and credibility across all levels, and collaborate with / influence others to gain consensus and alignment

What We Can Do for You

  • We work across business units to ensure you experience significant exposure to the business, system, and senior leadership

  • This role provides an ideal opportunity for someone to have a 360-degree view of our business, work / lead cross-functionally, and learn at accelerated rate
