Summary
SUMMARY: The Senior Database & Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst functions as a database reporting leader
responsible for facilitating appropriate reporting requirements and solutions in support of the mission,
vision, and business objectives of the organization. The Senior Database & BI Analyst will be responsible
for optimizing database reporting systems and services. The Senior Database & BI Analyst supports the
reporting of accurate and actionable data that contributes to strategic business planning and operational
efficiency. The Senior Database & BI Analyst focuses on data integrity, optimization, integration, and
standardization for the organization. Performs related duties as required. Performs related duties as required.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: NOTE: The following are the duties performed by employees

1. In collaboration with IS Leadership, establishes and implements database reporting goals.
Provides innovation in the provision of database reporting systems and services to ensure data
integrity and visibility to support clinical and administrative functions. Collaborating with end
users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery.
2. Overseeing the ongoing development and operations of an operational data store and enterprise
data warehouse.
3. Improving and streamlining processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data
accuracy, viability and value.
4. Overseeing the ongoing development and operations of a business intelligence architecture that
enables fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis and insight generation.
5. Staying current with industry database and reporting trends.
6. Advising and educating management on their relative importance and impact on data.
7. Design reporting systems to be scalable, compatible, and agile.
8. Ability to work in large cross-functional teams to influence and assist people at a variety of levels
internally and externally.
9. Realize opportunities to leverage the existing data, tools, assets, and resources.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High School Diploma or Associates Degree required. Bachelor's of Science
degree in Information Management, Project Management, Engineering or related field preferred. Minimum Experience: Previous experience as a Database Administrator and/or Business
Intelligence Analyst. Experience in Microsoft SQL, Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) and
Microsoft Sharepoint preferred. Minimum Experience: Five to seven years of increasing technical experience in a database
administrator/ business intelligence position. Minimum Experience: Expertise and knowledge of best practices related to reporting and dashboard delivery management. Experience with database architecture strategies and creating
intuitive, sustainable reporting environments.
