Senior Aircraft Captain
As a Senior Captain, you will be accountable for the safe and efficient operation and management of our corporate aircraft. Your extensive industry experience and deep insight into corporate aviation operations will make you a key contributor to the overall performance and safety of our flight department.
As a Senior Captain, you will be the authoritative figure on the flight deck, making critical decisions under complex conditions and ensuring the highest safety and operational standards are maintained. Your guiding role in mentoring, operational oversight, and strategic decision-making will be crucial to the success of our flight department. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide flight operations by directing and mentoring Second-in-Command (SIC) pilots, ensuring they comprehend their roles and responsibilities.
- Mentor less experienced pilots, sharing your expertise in operational procedures and best practices to foster their development.
- Provide guidance and facilitate decision-making during complex or non-standard situations to enhance the safety and efficiency of the crew.
- Lead by example and maintain professionalism in all interactions with passengers, crew, and ground staff.
- Take a guiding role in operational strategy and decision-making processes within the flight department.
- Play an active role in pilot training programs, participating in recurrent training, simulator sessions, and check rides.
- Share your knowledge gained from thousands of flight hours and years of experience, contributing to the development of a professional flight crew.
- Assist the flight department in quality assurance activities, such as safety audits, incident reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Represent the flight department during interactions with regulatory authorities, industry groups, and media regarding aviation matters.
- Engage with key stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and uphold the department's reputation.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum Flight Experience: 4,000+ flight hours with 12 years of experience.
- Aircraft Types: Experience flying four different types of aircraft in a professional capacity, with a focus on international operations.
- Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
- Minimum of 2000 hours of flight experience
- A minimum of 1000 flight hours of PIC in turbine powered aircraft
- FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Ability to speak and understand the English Language to the proficiency level required by ICAO Annex 1
- Ability to pass a company pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to pass a background investigation conducted by Honeywell's Security Department
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
