This position is located in the Office of Overseas Protective Operations (OPO), International Program Directorate (IP), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS).
In this position, you will serve as a Security Specialist responsible for overseeing the administration of contracts to provide worldwide protective services for USG officials and foreign leaders as designated by the responsible Contracting Officer (CO).

PSC's do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position. Contract is 1 year; renewable up to 4 years. Requirements: Qualifications:Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience interpreting contracts deliverables related to security programs.
- Experience conducting program management reviews of High-Threat programs.
- Experience providing technical guidance for security contracts.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-14 position.
