Position Overview

Hands on lead position expected to provide assistance to the success of the Hot teams as well as acting as a technical troubleshooter. The primary responsibilities of the Sr Lead includes directing job assignments and providing technical hands on leadership to ensure hot items make it out of the door on time. As a member of Pic the Gift management, this position is responsible for conveying a professional attitude towards other employees while recognizing the responsibility to meet production schedules and customer commitments.

Oversee our hot item operations. You'll guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. Another key aspect of this position is the training of new employees and employees working on new jobs.

In a fast paced environment like production, this position is an integral part of the manufacturing process. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations. You should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs.

The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the efforts of departmental employees who are responsible for running the rolls in a timely manner to ensure the product is made to PTG standards
• Ability to proactively identify hot items by monitoring necessary dashboards
• Ensure that hot products are sent to the appropriate department with accurate paperwork most efficiently; abiding by all company and government regulations.
• Ability to follow hot products to ensure they are completed and are able to meet production deadlines
• Constant communication, and planning with Department Supervisors and their teams.
• As a working lead, provide back-up support for teams as needed
• Work collaboratively with other department leaders and make recommendations for team or process changes to meet company goals and objectives.
• May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. College Degree or transferable experience and college coursework is preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of experience as a production/warehouse team lead

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
• The ability to understand and adjust resources to meet the highs and lows of business demands.
• Ability to coach, train and develop talent from within your team.
• SAP experience is a plus

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Hours for the shift are 7:00a - 3:30p, Overtime is based on needs for the facility 7:00a - 4:30p
• Pay range: $18-20 per hour
