Volt is hiring a Sales Development Specialist in Pleasangrove, CA.
Position Summary As a Sales Development Specialist, you will:
- Define, implement, and maintain a corporate-wide process to collect, qualify, and distribute all inbound leads from various campaigns and channels to convert them into sales-ready opportunities.
- Demonstrate effective understanding of targeted audiences, including industry knowledge, key business issues, and industry trends, along with an understanding of our product and service offerings.
- Nurture valuable relationships with customers to increase sales by capitalizing on all opportunities and maximizing coverage.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to build and maintain an effective pipeline of leads to support revenue goals.
- Manage the CRM system for customer and sales lead updates.
- Provide CRM application training and support for all internal users.
- Provide lead status updates to applicable parties, including sales management, partners, suppliers, vendors, etc.
- Create and perform various outbound call campaigns around sales programs, specific events, or targets in addition to ongoing primary lead generation activities.
- Create and update dashboards for reporting data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Teamwork: Exhibits objectivity and openness to other views, gives and welcomes feedback, and contributes to building a positive team environment.
- Oral Communication: Strong phone prospecting and marketing skills; communicates clearly and concisely.
- Sales and Marketing: Ability to reach prospects creatively, identify decision-makers, handle objections positively and professionally.
- Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively, edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, able to read and interpret written information.
- Quality: Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, applies feedback to improve performance, monitors own work to ensure quality.
- Accountability: Accepts responsibility for mistakes or problems; maintains ownership of assigned tasks.
- Attitude: Demonstrates a positive attitude and supports the organization's mission, vision, and values, such as honesty and integrity.
- Safety and Security: Observes safety and security procedures.
- Systems and Software: Ability to utilize computers and software programs (e.g., Office 365, Web mail, ERP systems).
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or Marketing. Education may be substituted by 3 to 4 years of job experience in marketing, sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 3-4 years in marketing, sales, or a related field. preferred-Not rquired
- Use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects, tools, controls, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is also regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Office environment with minimal noise.
- $25 per hour
