Responsibilities*

We invite applications for one research fellow position in the field of space physics or related fields with a focus on numerical modeling.  The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal for more years subject to performance review.

Key Responsibilities:

-     Work on numerical modeling of the magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling using the Space Weather Modeling Framework.

Required Qualifications*

-      Ph.D. in Space Physics, or a related field.

-      Strong background in space physics.

-      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Qualifications*

-      Experience with numerical modeling is preferred
