The Digital Sales and Performance Marketing team at Truist seeks to deliver caring and engaging communications to clients in a timely and relevant manner, enabled by a deep understanding of those clients, their needs, and their preferences. The Relationship Lifecycle Marketing Lead will be responsible for the development of cross-channel experiences that match clients to product solutions based on where they are in their relationship lifecycle – specifically for the Small Business Wholesale client segments. This seasoned leader will leverage data from client signals, advanced analytical insights, and opportunity events whenever possible. Drive profitable and efficient business growth and support the advancement and utilization of enterprise MarTech platforms and capabilities through the consultation and design of personalized experiences that are grounded in data and aligned to key business priorities. Contribute to strategic planning and related processes and disciplines. Collaborate with key partners across the enterprise, including other stakeholders within Marketing; LOB (product and channel); Analytics; Technology; Finance; Risk, and Operations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop marketing strategies to support business objectives and utilizing all marketing channels including digital.
2. Focus on long-term business and operational planning and performance, team and talent management. Develop departmental plans, including business, financial, production and/or organizational priorities.
3. Directly impact business results by determining the direction of large scale marketing projects, including budget and resource allocation.
4. Monitor client needs, competitive market place and provide ongoing marketing support that ensures the competitiveness of offered products and services.
5. Develop policies and plans and Identify and resolves technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges.
6. Manage team of marketers directly aligned to a specific business or segment. This position may be an individual contributor with significant subject matter expertise and experience with responsibility for directly impacting business results.
7. Provide leadership to managers and/or professional-level contributors and/or large-scale programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training
2. Ten years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, managing teams
3. Small Business/Commercial/Corporate/Wealth banking product and/or segment marketing experience
4. Demonstrated contribution to marketing strategy development to solve complex and/or unique operational problems
5. Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes
6. Significant budget management experience
7. Deep understanding of clients using research and analytics to ensure marketing success
8. Ability to lead large projects of significant complexity and notable risk exposure
9. Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to influence others at senior levels to adopt a new perspective
10. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry
11. Team leadership experience
12. Strong presentation skills and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1. MBA or Master’s degree in related field
2. Fifteen years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
