Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspector - 1st shift in Irwindale, CA.

As a Quality Inspector - 1st shift you will:

Inspect forged, cut, and finished materials to ensure they meet all required specifications.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and scales.
Record and report inspection results accurately using inspection reports and internal systems.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
Stencil inspected material with proper identification using stenciling equipment.
Adhere to quality practices and facility safety standards.
Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers regarding inspection results.

This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

The ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Strong basic math and computer skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
A strong commitment to quality and safety.
Forklift certification (or willingness to become certified).
Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift (6:00?am - 2:30?pm); overtime may be required

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
