Job Summary
Under the supervision of a Quality Supervisor at our Birds Eye Foods plant in Darien, WI, you will run tests on in-process samples, finished product, ingredients, and manufacturing supplies to determine the quality and acceptability of each material. You will store and evaluate samples in compliance with the sample retain program. You will maintain records of analyses and informing supervisory and production personnel of any non- conforming product, in processing material and ingredients.
You Will:
- Perform special tests and projects related to the operation
- Use and maintain standard laboratory apparatus for performing analyses.
- Compare test results and communicate information
- Input data into computer to maintain a permanent record of all finished analyses, out-of-specification report, and end of the month report.
- Compare test results with current specifications and advise supervisory and production personnel of problems and out-of-code situations. Make recommendations as to cause and resolution of problem.
- Work with production on solution to problems, including audit of quality performance by operators.
- Maintain high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping in the laboratory work area.
You Have:
- High school diploma or GED or a college degree
- Minimum 3 years related work experience.
- Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
- Ability to perform instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Basic microbial knowledge helpful.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$48,000-$64,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
