Job Summary
As the Project Engineer, you will provide project leadership and direction toward the successful execution of capital projects at the Indianapolis Bakery. Depending on size, location, and type of projects, this position will lead a single or multiple projects simultaneously. You will lead project teams to deliver capital investment projects that align with business strategies, follow structured guidelines, company policies, and deliver the highest value asset allocation possible. You will report to the Engineering Manager and work onsite at the Indianapolis Bakery plant.
Position Responsibilities
- To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Finance, EHS and RQI).
- You will interact with equipment vendors, construction contractors, engineering services contractors, local / state / federal government agencies, and co-manufacturing organizations.
- You will need a fundamental understanding of a food manufacturing environment, a technical knowledge of processes and equipment and basic Project Management skills that can be applied to developing and leading low complexity business initiatives.
- You will execute, integrate and align assigned projects by utilizing structured engineering work flow process. Execute project initiatives to ensure that all projects are completed to meet business needs.
- You will be responsible to ensure that all project planning, deliverables, reporting, and spending forecasts are managed accurately and that all projects are delivered within cost, schedule and performance success criteria. You will be expected to independently manage projects from development to completion and interface with the right stakeholders to deliver business results and value.
Position Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2 plus years of Project Management experience, leading projects from beginning to end
- Project Management from a manufacturing environment required. Food Processing and Pharmaceutical manufacturing environments will be considered.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
