Experienced-level professional that applies a solid understanding of process optimization concepts within business information discipline and uses knowledge to develop basic solutions and provide ongoing support. Responsible for influencing operational teams that execute on process, and efficiency related to Mortgage client and teammate journey.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Responsible for managing the day-to-day process for optimization/enhancement projects to support efficiency gains.
2. Provide a strategic view on how we align work and achieve the overall best Truist value for our clients and teammates
3. Support and educate on frameworks that assist in managing operational change from end to end across Mortgage
4. Leverage process improvement tools and methodology (e.g Six Sigma) to identify operational inefficiencies, impacts to quality, and opportunities to improve client experience
5. Partner closely with the various Mortgage practices and back-office teammates to evaluate process impacts of change, implementation plans, raise and track issues and remove barriers
6. Coach and develop process engineers on process optimization methodologies
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field or equivalent education and related training
2. Ten or more years experience in either: banking of finance industry
3. Experience in process optimization or re-engineering leveraging various tools/methodologies
4. Applicable certifications (six sigma, agile etc)
5. Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
6. Lead teams to monitor operational quality, identify trends and provide reporting recommending improvements that are in line with business objectives
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in either business, English or other relevant degree
2. Five or more years of Experience in mortgage industry
3. One to three years of experience supporting procedures or process mapping
4. Experience working in Agile environment
5. Experience with SharePoint and Reporting
