Lead complex and high visibility proposal efforts and business cases across the Lower Tier Integrated Air & Missile Defense (LTIAMD) portfolio.
What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities will include driving bid and negotiation strategies; interfacing with Program Executive leadership through EPPs and program proposal discussions; engaging with external customers through fact finding, audits, and negotiations; and mentoring teammates in proposal processes as well as FAR and DFAR requirements. Also responsible for the development and mentoring of early-mid career development team members.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience leading highly complex proposals including hardware production proposals with various quantity plot points
- In depth knowledge of FAR, DFARS, Estimating Guidelines, and Labor/Overhead Rate Structures
- Experience being primary Estimating interface for customer negotiations and DCAA audits
- Primary Estimating focal point for strategy and EPP discussions with Executive Leadership
- Strong cross functional collaboration skills
- Established capability of working with Pricing/Estimating software as well as advanced Excel concepts (Pivot Tables, VLookups, SumIfs, etc.)
- Strong, clear communication skills to influence decision making and stakeholder buy-in
- Prior experience, formally or informally, leading a team of stakeholders
-DOD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience with Business Cases and Cost Modeling
- Experience with wide-ranging types of proposals including: Hardware Production, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), and other non-standard types of proposals
- Established strategic and analytic abilities to problem solve and develop creative solutions to proposal capture opportunities
- Experience mentoring new team members

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
