PLAN Clubhouse Staff Generalist

PLAN (People Living Active Now) in Dallas, Texas is an accredited Clubhouse Model organization that operates according to Clubhouse International standards and is a program of Jewish Family Service of Dallas.  This PLAN Clubhouse is geared toward recovery support for individuals with mental health challenges.  It is a vital and highly interactive location that offers a place of belonging and a launch pad for those who are committed to living well, self-sufficiently and independently.

The Clubhouse Staff Generalist works with a team of Staff Generalists and PLAN members to follow a "work ordered day program" preparing meals, completing administrative tasks, preparing and completing PLAN projects, gardening, participating in field trips, etc. This professional works one-on-one with members in goal setting, assists with health and wellness activities of daily living, and acts as an employment coach for assigned employment partnerships.  This may include training the member, working with the employers to ensure that the position is going well, and, on occasion, stepping in to perform a member's job when the member is unable to complete it.
