Cook Children's Health Care System, based in Fort Worth, Texas, has an exciting full time opportunity for a board certified/board eligible pediatric gastroenterologist with advanced endoscopy skills (EUS, ERCP, Deep Enteroscopy) and interest in Pancreatic Disorders. We have a well-established department comprised of 7 physicians and 8 APPs in Fort Worth; 4 physicians in Lubbock; and 2 physicians and 1 APP in Prosper. Cook Children's is one of the first in the region to provide pediatric gastrointestinal manometry (motility) diagnostic testing for pediatric patients who experience chronic intestinal dysmotility dysfunction, such as intractable constipation, fecal incontinence, dysphagia and feeding intolerance. Our physicians practice within our attached clinic and partner hospitals, and have 100% pediatric practices.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the continued growth of an active Pancreas and Interventional Gastroenterology Program, and will cover both our outpatient and inpatient population, as well as, participate in the call rotation. This position offers substantial resources allowing the candidate to expand their own clinical and/or research programs. Research opportunities exist for interested applicants.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required.
- Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics, and approved fellowship training in Pediatric Gastroenterology and must have completed Advanced Endoscopic training upon hiring Board certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
- Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date).
