Title: Nuclear Pharmacist I
Department: Network Operations, Pharmacy
Reports To: Facility Manager or Regional Director, Operations with dotted line to Corporate Pharmacist in Charge (CPIC)

Overview:
The Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing the operation for their respective pharmacy. Essential Duties and

Responsibilities:
Provide functional supervision for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians at a site level.
Maintain records of all transactions of the pharmacy necessary to ensure accurate control over and accountability for all drugs as required by applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
Ensure legal operation of the pharmacy, including meeting all inspection and other requirements of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing pharmacy operations.
Work with the Corporate PIC (CPIC) and pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with USP <797>, <823>, proposed <825> regulations, or other state pharmacy requirements as applicable.
Attend monthly PIC calls and internal meetings as required.
Assimilate and disburse information from numerous sources, both internal and external, to help further educate pharmacy staff at a site level.
Work with the CPIC to implement continuous process improvement programs.
Responsible for opening change controls and initiating, maintaining, and reviewing SOFIE network and site specific procedures relative to their job functions.
Assist site in internal and external audits, as well as corrective actions to any deficiencies found.
Maintain pharmacy licenses as required for the site with timely notification to the Board of Pharmacy (BOP) and internal personnel for new license applications and renewals.
Work with Sales, QA/RA, and management to determine application process for new state registrations and licensure.
Provide training, guidance, and coaching to pharmacy employees.
Write and review standard operating procedures (SOPs) as required.
Aid in other pharmacy related duties/projects as assigned.
