Overview

Repligen has an exciting opportunity as a Molding Operator in our Clifton Park, NY location. This position is 100% trainable and requires only the following:

• Occasionally lift 50 lbs.
• Must understand (written and verbal) English and have 20/20 or corrected 20/20 vision.
• Ability to stand at workstation for long periods of time.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation (not bus line accessible).
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Use of hand tools (desired)
• Manufacturing experience (desired).

Currently we have 1st & 2nd Shift positions available:  

• 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm Mf-F (Salray range is $19/Hr. - $20/Hr.) 
• 2nd shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm M-F (Salary range is $20/Hr. - $21/Hr.)

Responsibilities

• What do Molding Operators Do?

  Our facility has two types of Molding Operators, Silicone Molding and Plastic Injection Molding. Silicone Molding is an operation involving manual injection of silicone into a mold. Plastics Molding operators utilize automated molding equipment to produce plastic components and assemble products as necessary.

  • • Ability to gown appropriately and operate in an ISO 7 environment (cleanroom)
    • Operate equipment following procedures and training guidelines.
    • Responsible for following safety procedures.
    • Read/understand molding drawings.
    • Basic math competency.
    • Understanding of measuring instruments.
    • Inspection and cleaning of parts
