The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing and coordinating with the Sr. Project Manager, Marketing Operations, to oversee the operational aspects of the firm’s marketing operations initiatives and roadmaps. This role involves a high degree of collaboration with all global marketing teams and cross-functionally with internal departments and external vendors to streamline processes, ensure continuous improvement, and improve operational efficiency. By leveraging your strong leadership and client service skills, a deep understanding of law firm environments, and experience with workflow automation, project management and operations tools, you will be a core member of our new and growing marketing operations team.

Key functions and responsibilities include:
Core Operations
Working at the direction of the Sr. Manager Marketing Operations, and ultimately the firm’s CMO, the individual will:
Implement continuous improvement initiatives and streamline and optimize marketing processes and workflow to enhance and ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist with managing department vendor, contractor, and supplier portfolios, working with the PMO, VMO and additional departments, as required.
Manage vendor and consultant relationships to ensure SLA and budget adherence.
Coordinate with finance/budget teams including monthly department forecast reviews, identifying opportunities for reductions, and mitigating outlier spend.
Workflow Management and Automation
Implement workflow management to ensure new project and change requests are documented, evaluated, and approved by senior marketing leadership before PMO, IT and KM teams are engaged.
Own workflow automation technology and processes in collaboration with marketing and BD senior leadership, including the development of new features, change requests, and team education.
People
Own internal team HUB from initial design and user interface and experience (UI/UX) phase to long-term data maintenance planning.
Lead updates and changes to org charts and internal systems.
Project Management
Engage with clients and external partners to understand needs and ensure successful outcomes.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior team members.
Engage with key team members to understand needs, perform gap analysis(es), and define stakeholder engagement plan(s).
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project debriefs.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans to address potential obstacles. Facilitate status meetings and updates to inform stakeholders on progress, issues, or changes.
Experience and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in operations management, project management, client service, data science or statistics with a proven history of managing complex projects in a global matrix environment.
Experience in the legal industry or a similar professional services environment is a plus.
Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
Risk management experience, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
Background in budget management, resource allocation, and financial oversight of projects and initiatives.
Exceptional project management skills, with a deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Proficiency with project management and workflow automation tools and technologies including Asana, Jira, ServiceNow, Visio, Microsoft Project, Power Apps, Teams, and/or Workfront.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions utilizing data visualization, data analysis, and statistical modeling tools (e.g., R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and Qlik).
Experience with Foundation and Interaction a plus.

For positions posted in New York, NY, the salary range for this job posting is: $124,200.00 - $173,800.00.
For positions in Los Angeles, CA, the salary range for this job posting is
$104,494.00 - $167,190.25.The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
