As a member of the IT Management Team, you are responsible for managing, developing, and leading a team of employees. Your role includes leading the specific functional responsibilities of your team, which involves overseeing team performance and deliverables. However, your role as a leader within our organization requires more than the management of resources and day-to-day operations. As a steward of the company, you are charged with the development and execution of your team’s strategic vision and plan and ensuring that your team’s actions align with the larger goals of the company and the IT Division.
The SAP Global Finance QA/QE Manager will lead the team of Quality Assurance and Quality Engineers; facilitating and maintaining the overall SAP Global Finance Quality Assurance strategy, manage the QA & automation resource needs within the workstream portfolio, define and manage the QA & automation roadmap while continually governing and improving the Quality Assurance and automation process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance best practices and methodologies, drive compliance, improve quality, and ensure reporting consistency across different teams. A key requirement of this Manager is an understanding of the “Automate First” concepts, strategies, and processes. He/she will incorporate experience and skills to partner in the development and implementation of automated test strategies and solutions and incorporate them into the development lifecycle within the technical delivery teams.

● Drive the development of the automated test engineering strategy, methodology, discipline, and frameworks to ensure and continuously improve quality, performance, and reliability of our FICO products.
● Ensures that the IT Security and Compliance guidelines that relate to QA are understood, and processes, and gates are in place and enforced.
● Maintains a solid resource and capacity plan with forecasts and plans to support the FICO workstream roadmap, and initiatives.
● Executes against approved projects and meets dates in support of scheduled application releases.
● Identifies, communicates, and manages dependencies that support successful delivery of QA and QE deliverables and commitments.
● Mentors and develops a top-performing QA/QE team that applies industry best practices to support business outcomes.
● Owns the QA/QE roadmap; prioritizes, balances multiple projects efficiently, and achieves goals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
● Partners with leadership to identify opportunities, set priorities, and establish team and division goals.
● Completes 30-day and 90-day reviews for new hires and annual performance reviews for team members.
● This is a full-time management/leadership position (45+ hours per week).
REQUIRED
● 5+ years technical leadership experience.
● 1 - 3 years QA and / or QE experience.
● 5+ years’ experience with SAP applications.
● Proven track record of strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to lead, mentor, coach, and develop staff.
● Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Engineer roles and responsibilities, including artifacts and deliverables.
● Extensive knowledge of and application of effective QA and QE methodology, practices, SDLC and drive compliance and quality improvement across the team.
● Solid understanding of the Automation First framework and processes.
● Experience onboarding and managing contractors (onsite and offshore).
● Strong written and oral communication skills.
● Ability to plan and budget.
● Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
● Excellent organizational and planning skills, with experience building strategic and tactical plans.
● Ability to work under pressure and in a crisis situation.
● Demonstrates ability to lead teams that operate in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment with frequent change.
● Strong leadership and team-building skills; ability to focus various work streams at the same time.
● Strong interpersonal skills; proven ability to work well with people at all levels.
● Scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the business, including weekends, holidays, and 24/7 on call responsibilities on a rotational basis.
● HIPAA Training and Supervisors Orientation (within 30 days of hire); Leadership Development 101 (within one year); Costco Pay Policies (within 90 days of promotion).
Recommended
● Experience with accounting applications and concepts preferred.
● Experience with Kanban and Waterfall methodologies preferred.
● Experience in leading QA and automation teams in support of large scale, multi-application systems.
● Strong technical experience related to all forms of software testing and quality assurance.
● Experience in the use of test automation tools and best practices. Experience with Tricentis Tosca is a plus.
● Proficient in Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail.

Pay Range: $137,000 - $200,000, Bonus and Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) eligible
