This role will be responsible for assisting with our risk management and compliance programs.At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together.This position will require 4 days per week in our Centreville, VA headquarters, subject to change with future business needs.

- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Partner with business leaders to identify, analyze and document risks
- Collaborate with business teams to develop and track risk mitigation plans
- Continuously monitor risk factors and risk mitigation processes to recommend needed changes
- Policy Development and Implementation:
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop and maintain policies and procedures
- Implement policies and educate employees to ensure compliance
- Regularly review and evaluate adherence to policies
- Continuously monitor evolving best practices in compliance controls
- Design and manage control systems to ensure that controls are operating effectively
- Internal and External Audits:
- Coordinate internal and external audits related to risk and compliance
- Address audit findings and recommend corrective actions
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on the status of risk and compliance programs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to risk and compliance activities
- Bachelor's degree in business, risk management, finance, law or a similar business or technical discipline
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ERM, CIA, CPA or CFE) is a plus
- Minimum 5 years' experience in risk management and compliance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skill, interpersonal skills and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills and meticulous attention to detail
