The Trash Dock associate will perform a variety of tasks including completing required paperwork, operating the controls on the compactors, making adjustments; and operate the trash compactors and balers.
Starting pay up to $19.23 per hour + Attendance Bonus! ($0.50 for first shift and $0.60 for second shift and $0.70 for Third Shift)
You will be onsite at the facility located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. As a general labor, you will report to the operations team. You will work onsite at the Council Bluffs location.
You Will:
- Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position
- Operate P.I.T.'s
- Work individually and with others as a team
- Push or pull up to 50 lbs. repetitively
- Obtain all required paperwork for shift
- Check compactors for anything out of the ordinary
- Dump and compact trash into the trash compactors
- Add cardboard into the cardboard baler and bale the cardboard for recycling
- Add plastic into the vertical baler and bale the plastic for recycling
- Pump liquids (fats, oils and grease) into the designated tank
- Monitor the compacting process
- Load the cardboard, barrels, pallets, and plastic onto the designated trailer
- Cleaning compactors, totes, work area
- Ensure good housekeeping and 5S standards are met
- Complete all required paperwork and document important data
- May perform general labor tasks as assigned
You have:
- Knowledge of GMP's and food allergens
- Be PIT Certified
- Be LOTO Certified
- Knowledge of the 5S concept
- Work with animal and allergen products
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: Minimum 3 months production or related experience
