Partner with the best
The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in the manufacturing process. You will deal with developing an operational year plan for the own manufacturing activities. You will also suggest improvements in products, processes and procedures.
As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Driving rigor in process capability assessment, process layout, tooling, automation and equipment development.
- Working with the Operations, facilities and maintenance team to implement improvements and ensure the required product capacity / capability is in place.
- Validating design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
- Troubleshooting shop floor issues, analyse root cause, implement corrective actions to meet on time delivery of product dispatch.
- Ensuring manufacturing processes comply with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Standard.
- Creating routings for manufacturing parts and assemblies.
- Leading New Product Introduction (NPI) site integration strategy and develop manufacturing techniques to promote production automation.
- Liaise with operational leadership and the shop floor daily to ensure stable operation within plant.
- Using lean / Six sigma tools and principles to promote efficiency within plant and global operation.
- Coalition of operational and manufacturing data to assess product and guide operational business strategy.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Degree in Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- Have 5+ years of overall experience in the manufacturing industry
- Have a background in software, digitization or Industrial automation is highly advantageous.
- Have Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
- Have Knowledge in Six Sigma/Lean techniques.
- Have knowledge in SAP ERP systems
- Have the ability to lead initiatives.
