Position Summary

The Law Clerk position in the Legal Affairs Department offers hands-on experience with legal processes in the public sector, working on issues such as contract review, regulatory matters, and legal compliance specific to airport operations. Responsibilities include assisting with legal research, drafting documents, and supporting various legal projects. The internship provides a unique perspective on the legal aspects of managing a major transportation hub and can be a stepping-stone for a career in aviation law or public-sector legal practice. The position is 12-weeks, beginning in June and ending mid-August, 20-30 hours/week (flexible).
Practice Areas: Administrative law, municipal law, constitutional law, business law, environmental law, contract law, real estate, governance, procurement, and administration.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Currently enrolled in the first or second year of law school (1L or 2L).
- Experience using Microsoft office software, e.g., Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS- Interest in aviation.
