- a high school diploma- working knowledge of billing elements and financial acumenWhat is the work?Financial Functions / Administration:- Applies accounting and system knowledge and skills to review invoices associated with asset management by category, according to contract rates- Learns / applies category knowledge to identify theme of data for category; escalates for further actions as needed- Reconciles invoices to purchase orders; accepts / rejects invoices- Audits / approves / processes vendor payments- Researches / resolves vendor requests and billing adjustments- Coaches vendors on invoices as needed
- Communicates with internal and external teams to resolve current issues and mitigate future issues- Supports special ad hoc projectsWhat is your background?- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field, or comparable experience (preferred)- 3+ years of experience in vendor management; work order / invoice reviewing a plus
- Experience in H-E-B Operations (Store, Plants, Warehouses) a plusDo you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Invoice Reviewer?- Working field knowledge of billing elements to determine if billing is accurate / reasonable- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Proficiency in Salesforce a plus- Strong analytical and project management skills; strong attention to detail- Strong interpersonal skills- Organization and time-management skills- Verbal / written communication and presentation skills- Financial acumen a plus- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks- Ability to demonstrate initiativeCan you...- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment- Travel by car or plane with overnight stays- Sit for extended periods- Occasionally lift 20 lbs or more
